- Auntie Yu Ming and Mrs Chua weren't around for football, though they took care of the logistics stuff and drinks etc already
- Vicki's (one of the footballers) father refused to let her and her siblings go out to play
Vicki really loves to play. The look on her face whenever she kicks the ball is enough to tell us that.
Her cousins have also been grounded, as well as some of the other kids. Mrs Chua says it's a queer thing that's going on in the neighbourhood. Pray that whatever's stopping the parents from allowing their children to play will be removed and overcome. Pray for Mrs Chua as she goes around calling on the children and their parents.
Oh ya. There's a young boy in the Children's Hour who doesn't want to join our youth meetings because he says we're "eksi", meaning arrogant / stuck-up. Let's all go down to the younger ones' level and talk to them this Saturday. Our socializing goal is to reach the young children and adults as well, and not just our peers (same age punya).
