Updates on the Youth

As of today, the youth is doing quite well and there are a few new faces as well! YAY! My cousin, Chai Ho and Nicholas have promoted to the youth from the Children's Hour! They are blending along quite well and an SAGC member named Simon has joined us as well. He's 20 and studying in College Yayasan now. So for now, our mission is to mangkuk-nise these 3 fellows.

Also, Sharma and Adrian are now attending the football ministry in Sayang Selasih. Latest news from Mrs. Chua is that the ministry is growing well. They now have 16 kids and have formed a team of 8 each. It seems they are going to have their own jerseys as well, so continue to pray for this growing ministry! Pray also for Kiat Siong, the passionate guy for God. He really wants to come to youth but his parents forbid him to do so. Do pray that God will soften his parents hearts.

That's it from Malacca now. Sorry for the trouble of going to this blog just to be disappointed by the lack of updates. Will try to update more often! God bless!

J.U.I.C.E Nite!

Photobucket
Just an update about this. MGC will be having an event called J.U.I.C.E Nite! on 23rd August. J.U.I.C.E stands for Join Us In Creating Excitement. The committee decided that using this as the theme was a bit vague and difficult for the speaker to reach out, so the theme was changed to Building Friendship. The target will be 40 people including the youth. Sharma will be the coordinator and the invitation card is right below this post! The fee will be RM3 because the committee agreed that the people are more likely to come to events they have to pay.

Melissa will be songleading and accompanied by a full band, with Jessica filling her brother's shoes as the drummer and Sin Yee and Yen Mei being the pianist. Adrian will be the bassist and Big Andy will be the emcee for the night. There will be a sketch about friendship and we're involving the MMU-ers! Wei Jin will be the proper (Props coordinator). Finger food refreshments such as sandwich and sausages will be served (Hwei is drooling already!) and juice is a sure as well!

This is just an update for those studying outside Malacca or Malaysia. Continue to persevere guys and pray for the current crop of youth! We shall uphold you soon-to-be uncles and aunties in prayers as well!

Lameness Title

MGC is known for breeding or having lame people. One of them is, me. But now, the competition has become stronger since, so let me introduce the challengers. But first, people must know who the challengers are challenging to take away the 'coveted' title.

Presenting the current title holder,

Shaun

Now.... The challengers...

Literally the whole youth... including Shu Lynn, Melissa and Sharma.

Whoever wins.... They lose....

Have a nice day guys! And don't forget you're always an MGC mangkuk youth whether you're in New Zealand, England, KL, Terengganu (were), Kedah, Sabah or wherever you are!
