Hey everyone! Our Youth Christmas Celebration turned out alright! We'll put up the video Aaron recorded of the skit and mime soon. Soon as in maybe a week later ^_^ So don't wait up *sheepish grin*
To the youth who painstakingly turned up for the demanding practices... God bless all of you for your efforts and commitment! I'm very happy ALL of you made the effort to talk to everyone who came that night. You've all grown a little more this Christmas!
However, successful as the event may apparently be, do not forget why we went to such pains to have it. Remember the purpose we had in mind when we decided to muster all our minds and strength to take on a presentation that we'd never done before in our entire lives. Remember the little pep talk we all had one fine Sunday. =)
Don't ever let fun and apparent good reviews cause you to forget that one reason we celebrate Christmas.
Your friends have heard the Gospel. They now know why Christmas is such a big deal. They have seen for themselves what Christians are really like.
Does it end there?
Don't slack and say that life has become meaningless now that Christmas is over.
There is much more to be done.
