Attending Not sure. Will find out. =)

Hwei
School UM (Law)
Attending Petaling Jaya GH
Back! As I shamelessly announced today, I am still aching from yesterday's run at the orphanage. *ouch* Driving back on Monday. Pray, because every journey I survive on the road is truly a miracle.

Juliana
School UTAR (English)
Final year d, and seems quite busy. She still took time to plan our trip to the orphanage though. Praise God for her willingness. =)

Melissa
Work Ernst & Young, KL (Economist in synergy team)
She's busy like mad, though she just got rewarded with a week's training in Singapore. =) She's been back a lot, helping with camp and stuff, pokoknya been a great blessing to the discouraged youth in MGC. Pray for her as she travels back and forth every week ya.

Shuen
Work Lim Tau Lih & Co. (Accountancy)
She's aching too. Ahaha.

Sin Lan
Work Dumex, I think. (Food Science & Nutrition) Nilai punya. =(
Attending Nilai GC
Back! Sin Lan's tenancy at her former place has terminated, and she's looking for a place to stay. Factors under consideration include where she wants to serve. She feels that there aren't many avenues for her to serve in Nilai GC. But then her workplace is kinda far from any other place also.

And Chun Haw's back with hair and more fats. =)

Sin Yee
Update Training in teacher's college in Johor
Attending Johor Bahru GC
Back! And complains that she's fatter. But that means she ain't starving! =D

Yen
Work Uncle's company (Interior Design). Studying as well.
Attending Daya GC
Back! Yen sprained her ankle at badminton today after a few swings of her racquet. Er, her foot's sprained, not her hand. Long story.

!!Newcomers!!
Juana, Wen Zin and Wah Wah from UTeM, Malacca, joined us today. They're doing their first year in IT, and staying in Bukit Beruang, past the police station. It's kinda far, and though I think they enjoyed our company today, it might be a bit difficult to motivate themselves to come to MGC once they get their car next week. Pray that they may continue coming, but even if they don't, let's pray that they continue attending church elsewhere. =D

**CAMP 2009!**

Date
14 - 17 December 2009

Venue SUFES CAmpsite, Tapah (Perak)
Camp Fees RM150 (inc accommodation, food, transportation etc)
Promotion RM120 for registrations before 8 October
Camp Speaker Uncle Philip Lim
Theme Me VS. Myself: Zero to Hero

Committee is headed by Sharma and Melissa (romantic wahhhhh =P). The campsite was built for the primary function of outdoor activities, so we'll be doing some obstacles course thingy, stream-trotting, jungle-trekking, hot-spring-ing etc. It'll be fun for the active (almost everyone) and torturous for the passive (me), but yeah, no one can get more passive than me, so you'll probably survive. Camp is evangelistic this time round, so holler to your friends. =)

Jessica's doing the games, because Andy had to pull out due to personal restrictions, and she's having STPM this year. She's still putting her soul into it, (T_T), and now Ju and Qi have agreed to help her with games.

Most of the committee are working young adults, so pray for commitment and time-management.

Oh, did I mention that we've never planned an evangelistic camp before? Pray for that too.

Invite your friends ya. Pray pray pray banyak-banyak. We've set up a Camp Fund for every Saturday, and it'll go towards funding those who have financial needs. So tell your friends not to worry about the money ya.

PLUS the updates listed above are the ones with recent changes. Everyone not mentioned is important as well, hence the title "PARTIAL Updates". Anyone with updates, nudge me on MSN or drop any one of us MGC-ians an SMS ya. Don't downplay the influence of this blog. I won't have known the Maus were down with dengue if I hadn't read it on the blog.

That's all for now, before I head back to PJ tomorrow. Sayang you guys banyak-banyak! ^_^

We Shall...

Be going to the orphanage on Saturday! Main purpose is to go and help clean up the place. Hopefully the place wouldn't be so dirty. Updates on camp would be we are going to have a camp T-shirt that is red in colour. Because of the printing of this shirt, camp fees might increase to RM150. As an auditer, Sharma believes it can be reduced, so pray that God will give the committee wisdom in cutting.

By the way, Sharma and Uncle Anthony and his family are at Kampar today and tomorrow. They're there to check out the campsite. Pray that while they enjoy themselves, they will also know more about the camp grounds and use it to the best. Pray for those not in Malacca that whatever they are struggling with, God may give them the strength to do it. It's easier to list those IN Malacca so you just pray for those not inside the names I'm giving; Me, Adrian, Andy, Shuen, Jessica, Sharma, Celine, Aaron, and Chai Hoe.

Pray also for those having major exams like PMR, SPM, and STPM that they will prepare for it. Those are Aaron, me, Chai Hoe, and Jessica. Pray for those in their first years that they may pay attention as basics are always important. So pray for Adrian in MMU, Andy in Lower 6, and Celine in Form 1 (So young). So actually you're supposed to pray for all the youths.

To recap on what to pray:

For Sharma and the committee on cutting cost for the camp.
For Uncle Anthony and his family (Sharma included) as they check out the campsite and safety there.
For University students outside Malacca. Not forgetting working ones (Sin Lan and Yen Mei)
For major examination youths.
For those considered first-years.
